I
cannot believe this semester is almost done! During this semester, I had so
hard time. Unlikely last semester, this semester has been boring to me because
my friends who were with me during last semester moved to another school. That is
why I could not concentrate on my study and school life. Therefore, I cannot
help feeling homesick. I missed my family and my friends so much, even though I
live with my uncle’s family here and eat Korean food every day. I really wanted
to go back to Korea and even I used to cry sometimes. However, my family and
friends kept contacting me and encouraging me. I obtained courage to live and
study here again from them and finally I could overcome the homesickness. Through
this semester, though I did not get a high improvement on my study, I got tough
but priceless experiences. I think my acquisition through this experience cannot
be obtained easily. Overcoming homesickness is my biggest lesson this semester!

Topic #5. My Favorite Place
My favorite place
is a park near my home in Korea. When I was young, I used to go to the park with
my friends for riding bicycle. And also I went there with my family bringing
some delicious food. At that time, there was so popular. Many people enjoyed
playing with family or friends there. Now, there has lost their popularity. The
shops that had lent bicycles and skates disappeared. I was so disappointed
about that. However, I still go there. I really like to go there. Whenever I go
there, I feel relaxed. I can think about nothing hanging around with my friends.
There is a reservoir. When I see the reservoir, I can feel fresh air. My city
is trying to make the park recover its popularity. One year ago, a museum was
built in the park. And camping spaces will be built. I am looking forward to
seeing many people enjoying there. When I go back to my country, I will go the
park with my family!
Topic #4. Major
My major is international business. I
chose the major because I was not interested in any other majors. Moreover, I was
not really good at math and also at writing. However, I like meeting people and
talk with them. That is why I chose international business. I think business
majors do not need the person who is really good at math or writing. Actually, I
had chosen business as my major for the first time, but I thought international
business is more prospective that just business. Now, I am a senior in my university.
My major needs people who have good foreign language skills. Therefore, I am
learning English here and I will learn Chinese when I go back to my country. I
am not interested in a Bachelor's
degree. All I am interested in now is going back to my country, keeping
studying English and Chinese, and getting a good job.
